🎶 Meet the Band Directors! 🎶

Sara McGarry is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She conducts the Wind Ensemble and teaches the beginning flute, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, euphonium, and tuba classes.

Did you know she is also an internationally certified Ballroom dance instructor? 💃🏼

Mrs. Alvarado has been teaching at Bailey Middle School since 2006.
She teaches the beginning clarinet, French horn, trombone, and trumpet classes.

🎶 Meet the Band Directors! 🎶

Mr. Caniff is the second assistant band director at Bailey Middle school where he conducts and teaches the Bailey MS Symphony Band, Steel Band, and beginning percussion class.

📣New staff announcement!📣 Please welcome Mr. David White to the Bailey MS Band team! https://www.baileyband.org/teachers

Mr. White is the third assistant band director at Bailey Middle School. Prior to joining Bailey, he served as Assistant Band Director at Paredes Middle School, where he directed the Concert and Symphonic Bands.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, earning a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at UTRGV, he studied saxophone under Dr. Cynthia Cripps, performed with the UTRGV Wind Ensemble, and served as a member, section leader, and Vice President of UTRGV Winds under the direction of Dr. Saul Torres.

Mr. White also enjoys spending time with his partner, Samantha, and his dachshund, Moose. He also enjoys building gaming computers, cooking, and traveling home to spend time with his family.
