James Bowie Color Guard

James Bowie HS Color Guard is comprised of the WGI & TCGC Medalist and Finalist James Bowie Guard. Open to all Bowie High School students.
In the fall, this group is the “visual interpretation” of the marching band. Auditions are held in May. The winter guard program provides performance opportunities for its members through participation in the Texas Winter Guard Circuit and Winter Guard International. Color guard students will learn in depth performance technique, all genres of movement basics, and equipment basics on flag, rifle,
