Join us tomorrow morning at 10:30 for our weekly half hour story time! Geared to children aged 2-5 and their caregivers. Siblings are always welcome.

The library will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. Regular hours will resume on Saturday, June 20th.

Coding Club is cancelled tonight, June 11th. We'll be back on Thursday, June 25th at 4:30 p.m.

Call 507-433-2391 to sign up for our T-Shirt Quilting for Beginners class for ages 12 and up! Learn how to turn your favorite t-shirts into a keepsake quilt! Please bring a minimum of 6 clean t-shirts (must be an even number). Backing and finishing supplies are not included, but resourceful options and guidance will be provided to help you complete your quilt. Class meets every Tuesday evening in June from 6:00-8:00 p.m. starting on the 16th

Story time is moving to a new day! Every Wednesday, starting on June 3rd, join us at 10:30 a.m. for a half hour story time.

Austin Aspires is proud to lead a 5-week family literacy series at the Austin Public Library using the Families READ Toolkit, developed by the Minnesota Department of Education, to help caregivers and children build joyful reading habits, strengthen literacy skills, and connect through stories and hands-on learning. Each week families will explore a new reading skill and learn simple strategies to support reading at home.

Cada semana, las familias explorarán una nueva habilidad de lectura y aprenderán estrategias sencillas para fomentar la lectura en casa.
