The Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing (TXICFW) is located within the School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin. Utilizing our experiences in both direct social work practice and social welfare policy, our researchers seek to build evidence for social work practitioners and policy makers to improve practices and systems.

The UT Spark program concluded June with yet another successful teen camp. For more than a decade, Spark has brought dozens of foster youth to UT Austin for its annual Camp Longhorn conference. The camp gives students a chance to discover how to access and learn about resources to help them transition into adulthood successfully.
