The hardest part about leading a changemaking endeavor? It's lonely. It's hard to know who you can talk to. Hard to own your power. Sometimes it is hard to navigate your own authority and trust it. Hard to hold boundaries correctly while releasing codependency, martyrdom, self-sabotage patterns, and rescuing patterns. But here's what I know after 30 years in community-based projects—from spontaneous community to intentional live-in communities on acres of land, working with leaders and world changers:
The distortions we carry in our own minds, hearts, bodies, and patterns move through the communities we're trying to build.
No shame in recognizing that. There IS something we can do about it. It's deep, it's fun, it works.
This is why I'm launching the Community Coherence Convergence - the newest iteration of my life's work.
