Putting research into practice is where real industry transformation begins.

Yesterday, Implementation Champions from across the industry came together for the 2026 CII Implementation Forum to share deployment success stories, exchange best practices, and explore practical strategies for bringing CII research back to their organizations.

From learning how owners and contractors are successfully implementing CII Best Practices to discussing new research, building stronger internal CII champions, and collaborating on real-world implementation challenges, the forum reinforced one key idea: research creates impact when it's put into practice.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this interactive event and for your continued commitment to turning CII research into meaningful improvements across the capital projects industry!

Even after the 2026 CII Annual Research Conference concluded, the conversations continued.

Yesterday, attendees gathered for the CII Women in Construction Forum, held in conjunction with NAWIC's Heavy Industrial Construction Council (HICC), to discuss how we can attract, support, and empower more women in the construction industry.

Through an engaging panel discussion and collaborative industry exercise, participants explored actionable strategies to increase career awareness, remove industry barriers, expand leadership opportunities, strengthen apprenticeship and certification pathways, and support hiring across the capital projects industry.

A special thank you to our sponsor, Access Sciences, for making this important event possible, and to our outstanding moderator and panelists for sharing their expertise and inspiring meaningful dialogue!

Together, we're building a stronger, more inclusive industry.
