The highlight of David's quarantine was having a virtual internship with JP Morgan Chase and getting offered a full-time job out of it. Three words to describe him are dedicated, driven and determined.

Jensen is our VP of Community Development, her proudest moment at St. Edward's was placing 2nd in the iChallenge Business Pitch Competition. Three attributes she'd use to describe herself are adaptable, creative, and goal-oriented. People would be surprised if they knew how often she applies skills she developed from theatre to her entrepreneurial pursuits. It's improv, baby!

We're kicking off the semester and have some exciting events in the making! Over this week we will be highlighting the officers of the Student Entrepreneurship Club.

Morgan is the President of SEC, her favorite class that she's taken at St. Edward's is New Product/Service Development with Professor Altounian. The most important thing she's learned as a college student is that we grow the most when we're challenged. This year as President, she wants to work to build a strong community within entrepreneurship on campus!

The Student Entrepreneurship Club will be hosting a kickoff to the semester on Monday, August 31st, from 7-8 PM. This will be a social event where we can discuss the upcoming semester, connect with new and old members, and have a strong start to our semester. Tomorrow (9/18) is our first ‘Wednesday Workshop’ (Moody 304 from 5 - 6 PM & 6:30 - 7:30 PM) where you will be getting down and dirty with different entrepreneurial concepts and practices. Those of you with businesses will work on answering tough questions and begin mentor matching.

To prepare: If you have a business already, come with some questions or goals. If you don’t have a business, start thinking about businesses you like or an idea of your own.
