Thinking about warm sunny days in Hawaii last week while the snow falls outside in Colorado.

I’m so grateful for time with my family and a fun day in the sun. It was a busy trip full of sorting through decades of memories, clearing out what was no longer needed, and making space for new opportunities. ✨

A part of my heart will always live in Hawaii and the home I grew up in. 🌊🌺🏝️

So much has changed in my practice in the last 10 years. I have grown a lot as a teacher and my practice has transitioned from power to restorative. I’ve loved reading everyone’s 10 year flashbacks and thought I would share some insights of my own. Hope you enjoy!

What has changed for you in the last 10 years?

It's been a busy year of teaching, creating, travel, and growing. I have transitioned a lot over the past year from moving states to careers and more. It's been a wonderful and uncomfortable process and I'm still finding my way through.

I am starting 2026 from a space of gratitude and awe. It's strange to look back at this past year and recall that despite uprooting and starting over I was able to create and grow as a teacher in ways I haven't before.

In 2025, I expanded my teaching offerings-developed 3 teacher trainings, traveled multiple times to teach, started a yoga school with my dear friend .anbalagan, and planned 3 retreats with . It's been a wild ride and I can't wait to see what's next!

Here's to another year of growth and expanding my yoga offerings in Colorado 🥂. Keep an eye out for some upcoming teacher trainings and workshops this year.

Join me on retreat this July in Pagosa Springs and this September in Iceland. Click on the link in my bio to learn more.

Celebrating the wins, big and small. ✨

This Sunday I ran the marathon in Sacramento. I had my best marathon time and finally qualified for Boston.

I trained for my first marathon in 2009 and my goal pace was just under a 10 minute mile. Over the years I slowly got faster and closer to running under 3 hours and 30 minutes, but never quite made it due to injury, overtraining, or bad weather.

This year my teenage dream came true. And to my surprise I beat my best marathon time by 19 minutes and finished in 3 hours and 16 minutes. I felt strong in my body, stayed present, and reminded myself I was healthy and my body could do this.

I’m over the moon with my time but mostly I’m grateful for all for the hard work I put in to get here. The years of training, my running community and , wonderful coaches: who always told me I was capable of so much more than I could imagine at 19 and who helped me hone my pace for this race, and my loved ones who put up with my training schedule, early mornings, and showered me with love and support.

My heart is full and I am so grateful for every step it took to get here. I’m excited to see what’s next. ✨

Kula = community. In yoga your kula is your chosen community. Those that you choose to surround yourself with and together you hold space for one another, uplift each other, and grow together.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to reconnect with my Austin kula. I lead a donation class for with the wonderful at , ran a race that supports clean water access in Burundi with and , and spent quality time with friends. Not to mention eat my fill of tacos and TexMex 😋🌮.

I feel lucky to come back to Austin and be embraced with so much love and joy. ATX will always hold a special place in my heart no matter where I go.

Find your kula or create it and keep them close even when you may be miles apart. 💖🫶🏽✨
