The Strait of Hormuz just lost its power as a weapon — and most people haven't noticed yet.
I was on Fox Business with Dagen McDowell and Brian Brenberg this week to break down what's really happening in global energy markets. A few things that might surprise you:
🔹 he UAE is on track to route 100% of its oil exports around the Strait of Hormuz via bypass pipelines, with a second pipeline 50% complete and targeted for 2027.
🔹 The Strategic Petroleum Reserve drawdowns were structured as loans — oil companies have to give it back between 2026–2028, with 15–22% more barrels, of higher quality oil, than were taken. American consumers get that benefit.
🔹 China is no longer buying cut-rate oil from Iran and Venezuela. They're paying full market price now — which helps lower oil costs for consumers around the world.
American energy production is changing the global picture.
