Sloane normally screams her head off when we get a car wash, but today was different…

We were halfway through and I suddenly realized that Sloane had only softly fussed a tiny bit! But she was totally fine!

When I looked back, I saw that Owen was holding her hand 🥹🥹🥹
We had just switched the kids car seats to three-across a couple days ago, so her big brother was right beside her 🥹.

After the carwash I said, “I noticed Sloane didn’t cry! I wonder why?”
And Owen said, “she looked over and saw me and Cam and she wasn’t nervous anymore.”

Whenever the boys have to do something they’re nervous about (go to swimming lessons, go into a store alone to order ice cream/a donut, ask a stranger a question), I always say, “Just hold your brothers hand. You don’t need to be so nervous when you have a brother beside you.”

And Sloane has two brothers, so I guess she’s set 🥹

It’s Monday. We having a GOOD week NO EXCUSES, NO bad energy.

We “vacationed” at my parents house this long weekend, and it was so fun 🥰
