Thanksgiving week is finally here! It's been a busy fall and last weekend we were part of the at St. Edward's. Thanks to all who came to our very first social and played along with our drawing musical chair game! We each drew from the same still life, but switched chairs every 5 minutes or so until we drew on everyone's drawing. We love a collaborative effort! It was so nice to see returning campers and also meet new faces 🦃

It's December-- time to think about gift giving!
Looking for the perfect gift for your resident painter? Why not add some new colors to their collection that they can experiment with in the new year? Our teacher Renee recommends graphite gray, lemon yellow, and interference blue,
Summer ST.ART offers ridiculously engaging, hands-on, immersive programs in Studio Art for high school students.
Participants will learn new skills, expand ideas, grow their portfolio and make lifelong friends in the arts. Classes are taught by UT Austin faculty and staff in the laboratories of the Department of Art and Art History. Students can live on campus in UT residential halls or commute daily.
Classes meet five days a week and feature a range of disciplinary practice, including darkroom photography, three-dimensional digital fabrication, painting and drawing, printmaking, sculpture, collaborative projects and everything in between. All programs include a “core” class for students to further develop foundational skills, while electives invite students to concentrate on 2D or
3D processes. Throughout the program, students have access to studio spaces and participate in field trips that explore Austin’s vibrant creative community.
