Congregational Preschool

Congregational Preschool Welcome to our preschool program where children love to learn and learn to love! We are housed inside their church building and utilize their office personnel.

Our program, designed for children ages 33 months to kindergarten, is built on a long tradition of cherishing preschoolers and their families. Established in 1965, Congregational Preschool was the first preschool in Austin, Minnesota. Our long tradition of excellence is built on cherishing each preschooler and their family. Our staff of licensed, experienced teachers and assistants continue to wel

come children of all backgrounds into our program. Our program is a non-profit, non-denominational and non-discriminatory outreach program of First Congregational UCC of Austin, MN. Our preschool is governed by a Board of Directors which includes both church and parent representatives.

This week was all about dinosaurs. We learned about paleontologists, how dinosaur bones become fossils, and even found our own fossils in the kinetic sand. Using paint brushes to brush away the sand was a fun new way to use paint brushes. We had a great week.
Next week we are exploring water.

Yesterday we created a solar eclipse using a flashlight, balloon, and a globe.
Today we looked at pictures taken in Missouri and 1 from the International Space Station. They are the eclipsed, then Jupiter during the eclipse, and then the Eclipse from space.
