🔬 GARSEF SCIENCE FAIR NEWS | September Update 🧪
Science fair season is underway! Here’s what students, teachers, and families need to know this month:
📣 TEACHER ORIENTATION — THIS WEEK!
Returning Teachers: Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 5:00 PM
New Teachers: Thursday, Sept. 3 at 5:00 PM
Both sessions are on Zoom. We’ll cover this year’s changes, the GARSEF timeline, STEM Wizard, and answer questions. Sessions will be recorded.
⚠️ At least one teacher from each participating school must attend.
👩🏫 NEW TO GARSEF? WE CAN HELP!
Our Teacher Support Program pairs teachers who are new to GARSEF with experienced former science teachers who can help guide them through the science fair process. We’re also looking for additional mentors!
🎓 TEACHERS WITH SENIORS — REGENERON STS
The Regeneron Science Talent Search application is now open!
📅 Deadline: November 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET

The Raspberry Pi Foundation offers free coding resources for students.
Middle school students can also compete for the Broadcom Foundation Special Award for projects combining STEM knowledge and coding with a passion for helping or improving their community.
