Today was UIL for concert and sight reading and it went AWESOME!!! Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble and Mr. Farrell on their SWEEPSTAKES performance, y’all did such a great job! 🤩 We also took our Symphonic Band, and for the first time, our Concert Band as well! Both bands received 2’s on stage from two exciting performances. To say we’re proud of them is an understatement; these young musicians represented Navarro well on and off the stage with class and integrity. Congrats to ALL the students involved in today’s event, and thank you for being in the moment and making music with us. -Your Directors

Huge thank you to our supportive middle school directors from Webb, Burnet and Dobie who made the trip out here to help make everything run smoothly and cheer us on from the audience.

Viking Band Family!
This Thursday, we are having our winter concert, featuring The Viking Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. Join us for an evening of music, and celebrating the hard work of our young musicians.
Doors open at 5:45 pm and the program will start at 6.
Admissions: Donation/Decoration for our "Sock Tree"

This season, the Viking Band is asking for donations of new socks, underwear, and diapers of all sizes as we aim to turn around and give them to the Women's shelter. Your generosity and spirit can be felt by those in need by your donation.
We will see you on Thursday!

Great game last night Navarro Viking Football!

Thank you parents for all your support, we would love to see more parents at the games!

Students, be ready to work hard this next week, only 11 days left until Jamboree! We will see you Monday morning in class.

P.s. don’t be “that guy/girl” who leaves their shoes overnight in the band hall. We might sell them next time 👀
