FLASHBACK!!!
This time last school year, the National History Club sealed a time capsule filled with our memories, dreams, and reflections—a moment of unity and hope for the future.
Today marks one year since that incredible day. In that time, we've grown as students, historians, and leaders, continuing to share stories and keep history alive.
Thank you to everyone who contributed. Your letters, photos, and artifacts captured a moment we'll never forget.
Here's to the legacy we're building-one chapter at a time.

Definitely one of the highlights of our adventure in Austin, Texas! Thank you, State Representative Eddie Morales Jr. for this awesome experience!

It was a privilege to welcome the Eagle Pass High School History Club to their Texas Capitol. It was great to connect with students who wanted to learn about the legislative process, and so many of them asked great questions!

Special thanks to local historian Mr. Jeff Taylor Sr. from Eagle Pass, Texas ~ "Back in the Day" for speaking with members of our National History Club chapter at EPHS. Mr. Taylor captivated our young historians with tales, artifacts, and rare photographs from our town’s rich history!

Mr. Taylor generously gifted the club two RARE school report cards from 1884 & 1911 and a set of framed vintage Eagle Pass post cards. These items will be part of the new Artifacts and Archives Collection managed by our club housed here at Eagle Pass High School.

Honorary membership into the club was extended to and accepted by Mr. Taylor at this meeting. Our club is excited to begin this partnership as we endeavor to become the new wave of Eagle Pass historians.
