NEWS: On June 1, the Troy ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Andru Gilbert as the district’s new superintendent. Gilbert most recently served as the assistant superintendent at Denison ISD.
He began his career as a teacher in Irving ISD and has also served as principal, at Arlington, Richardson, and Ferris ISDs. Congratulations!

UPDATE: On June 3, the Buckholts ISD Board of Trustees named Roland Quesada as the lone finalist for the position of superintendent. Quesada currently serves as superintendent in George West ISD.
The Buckholts ISD board is scheduled to vote to hire Quesada after the 21-day waiting period required by state law.

NEWS: On May 14, the Columbus ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Christopher Carpenter as the district’s new superintendent. Carpenter most recently served as the assistant superintendent at Slaton ISD. He began his career as a teacher in Lubbock ISD. Carpenter has also served as principal at Ralls ISD. Congratulations!

On May 11, the Culberson County-Allamoore ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Sandra Nix as the district’s new superintendent. Nix most recently served as the interim superintendent and principal at Charlotte ISD. She began her career as a teacher in Hondo ISD and has also served as principal, at Pearsall ISD. Congratulations!

: On May 1, the Angleton ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Alicia Press as the district’s new superintendent. Press most recently served as the assistant superintendent at Angleton ISD. She began her career as a teacher in North Royalton City Schools.
Press has also served as principal and executive director at Ector County ISD. Congratulations!
