On Tuesday, Boerne ISD trustee Rich Sena testified in Austin before the Senate Committee on Local Government. Sena presented to the committee the impact of homestead exemption increases on his home district and outlined Boerne ISD’s legislative advocacy priorities heading into the next legislative session.

This is another prime example of advocacy in action and why it’s critical for school board members to continue to have a voice at the Capitol.
