A little fun between two important days of work! 🏀

Our LeadingAge Texas Board met yesterday for its August Board Meeting and is back at it today for Strategic Planning. In between, we spent the evening cheering on the Dallas Wings—and got to see a win!

We’re grateful for a Board that brings their time, perspective, and leadership to LeadingAge Texas...and still knows how to have a little fun together.

Today, LeadingAge Texas had the honor of presenting Rep. James Frank with our Legislative Champion Award in recognition of his leadership and work on SB 457.

Rep. Frank accepted the award at Presbyterian Manor Wichita Falls, a LeadingAge Texas member community.

We’re grateful for legislative champions who understand the needs of aging services providers and the older Texans they serve.

What a year to celebrate Doyle Antle!

We were glad to join our friends at The Villas by Buckner in celebrating Executive Director Doyle Antle as he prepares for retirement. Earlier this year, LeadingAge Texas had the honor of recognizing Doyle as our 2026 Award of Honor recipient for his leadership and years of service to aging services.
