🍎 Big Things are Cooking for National Nutrition Month! 🥗

We are so grateful for our partnership with the Chef Ann Foundation and the Texas Department of Agriculture! We gathered at KIPP Austin Academy of Arts & Letters to celebrate the power of fresh, scratch-cooked school meals that fuel our students' bodies and minds. 🌷📝

The day featured a behind-the-scenes kitchen tour and an expert panel discussing how nutritious, culturally-relevant meals impact student success. We were honored to be joined by notable speakers including Mara Fleishman (CEO, Chef Ann Foundation) and Lindsey Rodgers (Texas Department of Agriculture), who shared their insights on the future of school food. 🍳🚜

KIPP Texas is proud to be a model for how school nutrition can be a powerful educational asset and a reinvestment in our community.

To prioritize the well-being of our students, all KIPP Texas Austin schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27.
