Our Holy Family community gathered for Mass today, celebrated by Rev. Lourdhu Raju Madanu, M.F., Parochial Vicar of St Margaret Mary Catholic Church. In his homily, Father Lou reminded our students that true wisdom comes from God, encouraging them to turn to Him in prayer, listen for His guidance, and persevere even when they feel discouraged.

We are especially excited that beginning next week, our youngest Angels in PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten will join us for Mass! 🙏

As we continue our 2026–27 school theme, Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue, we turn our focus to a new virtue for September: Orderliness.

After beginning the school year with Kindness in August, our students are encouraged to practice orderliness by keeping themselves neat and their belongings in good order. From caring for their classrooms and school materials to developing good habits and routines, there are many ways to put this virtue into practice each day.

“But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40

We look forward to continuing to grow in virtue together throughout the school year! 💙

Thank you to all of our middle school families who joined us for Back to School Night! It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet with our teachers, administrative team, and Parent Association, while also getting a firsthand look at their child’s school day by walking through their class schedule.

We are grateful for the involvement and support of our Holy Family families as we begin another great school year together!

It was wonderful welcoming our PK–5 families last night to Holy Family’s Back to School Night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the General Assembly with our administrative team and Parent Association, followed by time connecting with teachers in their classrooms.

Today marked our first Eucharistic Adoration of the 2026-27 school year, led by Deacon Chris Sperling of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church - Austin, TX. Eucharistic Adoration offers us a beautiful opportunity to spend quiet time with Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. What a gift for our students, faculty, and staff to begin the school year in His presence.

Following Adoration, we held a special Virtue Pin Ceremony, celebrating our shared call to grow in virtue throughout the school year as we embrace this year’s theme, Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue. 💙

Our first Mass of the 2026-27 school year! 🙏

Today, our students gathered for Mass with Father Greg Gerhart, Vocation Director for the Diocese of Austin, alongside Deacon Chris Sperling of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church - Austin, TX.

Reflecting on our school theme, “Rooted in Grace, Growing in Virtue,” Father Greg reminded our students that growing in virtue takes practice. Just as an athlete or musician grows through continual practice, we grow in virtue by choosing what is good again and again, drawing closer to God and finding deeper happiness in Him.

Celebrating Mass together each Thursday is at the heart of our Holy Family community. We can’t wait for our youngest Angels in Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten to join us for Mass soon! 💙
