Hello all! It's Sayagyi Dan.

I know! For some of you, it's been a long time!

At one time or another, all of you have been a key piece of my One World Karate journey. I opened the school in 2012 and this August, I turn the program over full time to Saya Myles, Saya Zane, and Saya Anuj.

While I'll still be around and I'll make sure that I provide opportunities for everyone to continue to learn and grow in the Hanthawaddy Bando system, I am stepping back from a full time instructor in order to take care of family obligations and start in on my next stage of life's great adventure.

I humbly ask that all of my black belt students and their families join me on Saturday, August 2nd for a celebration of my 53rd birthday and an evening of memories and stories about our time together.

I know some of you have moved away, but would mean very much to me to see as many black belt students as possible together in one room with me.

If I have missed anyone, please send the invitation along to them.

One World Martial Arts – Martial Arts For Everyone! An industry leader in the emerging fields of online teaching and staff development, we offer programs of many types for martial artists of all levels as well as professional teachers and instructors. 

Hello EVERYONE!

As you all know, we're going to be making some big moves and big changes to our Austin School and program next month.

We'll be both reducing days of teaching and increasing locations we teach in simultaneously, with the intent of spreading out so that we can serve more students.

Our new plan will also encourage (I hope) my assistant instructors to take the next steps into being full-fledged instructors without feeling they need to give up their "day jobs" or career dreams to do so.

With that in mind, we'll be consolidating our various social media pages and stuff into one focused set of postings under the banner of One World Martial Arts as opposed to One World Karate - this also will affect connected social media like Instagram, tiktok, etc.

That means I'd like to invite you all to go over to join our page One World Martial Arts Academy as that's where we will be posting all information from now on. This page will remain, but will not be used for the next 12-18 months.

Eventually, this page will be run as the exclusive page of Saya Myles Lund and his program that we will grow over the next 2 years.
