Sessions .002 surpassed expectations when walked us through his approach to composition and photography.

What started as a presentation quickly turned into something else entirely when the iPad got put away and the canvas walked onto the stage.

That’s always been the goal with Sessions. Not just watching someone talk about tattooing, but getting a real look at how artists think, work, and solve problems.

We still can’t believe we are only 75 days out from Sessions .004!

Some of the best parts of Sessions don’t happen on stage.

They happen in the hallways, over lunch, between presentations, and outside after the day wraps up.

A conversation turns into a friendship.
A friendship turns into something bigger.

And you realize Instagram makes everyone seem way more intimidating than they actually are.

That’s the stuff you can’t put on a schedule.

LAST YEAR, we did the whole hands-on workshop thing.
Live drawing. Interactive seminars.
You know, actually making you participate.

THIS YEAR?
We’re going back to the drawing board. Literally.

Back to basics. Back to when you actually loved drawing before Instagram made it feel like a full-time job.

We’re focusing on the stuff that matters:
drawing, design, creativity, and the constant existential crisis of being a tattooer.

You know, the essentials.

Less sitting there pretending to take notes.
More actually doing the thing.

Sketching. Collaborating with people you’ll probably steal ideas from (kidding… mostly). Problem-solving. And questioning every life decision that somehow led you into this industry, alongside presenters who actually get it.
