Brain-Boosting Summer Activities for Kids ☀️

Join the library in celebrating the start of summer and the Summer Reading Program over at Buda City Park! Enjoy fun for the whole family including art projects, foam mania with Big Time Bubbles, Touch-a-Truck with PD and more! We recommend you bring a towel and your swim suit!

Thank you to the Friends of the Buda Library for their financial support of our Summer Reading Program and Ally Medical ER Buda for helping in sponsoring this event!

This event kicks off with a Sensory-Sensitive Friendly time from 5:00-5:30 pm. We invite families with sensory-sensitive members to attend!

This event takes place at Buda City Park located at 204 San Antonio St.

Join the City of Buda and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) this Sat., May 30 at Bradfield Village Pond for the 16th annual FREE Buda Fun Fish event!

Learn the basics of fishing, fish identification, knot tying, and casting from TPW certified Angler Education Instructors, then head down to the pond to try and catch a big one! A fishing derby will be held from 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. featuring awards for Best Dressed Angler and Smallest Fish.

Bring your own fishing gear, bait, and fishing license (license required for those 17 years or older) if you wish to participate. Dress appropriately for outdoor fun in the Texas heat and bring sunscreen and a water bottle.

11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Fishing Derby
12 p.m.-1 p.m.: Awards
