e, AWIT is enthusiastic about supporting iSchool students interested in information science and technology. This fall, AWIT is establishing a weekly Learning Commons initiative focused on developing computer programming skills. Modeled after organizations like ATX Women Who Code, AWIT will provide a time and space for students seeking to gain hands-on, collaborative, computer programming experience. In addition to the Learning Commons, AWIT will continue to hold a variety of special events throughout the year.

We are seeking volunteers for our upcoming ATX Tech Panel - April 7th from 6-8pm. This is a great opportunity to network directly with industry professionals, rack up some iGive hours, and contribute to an awesome event put on by your iSchool student orgs. Volunteer tasks range from greeting guests, handing out name tags, to setting up the room for the event.
