Timeline for Admission Decisions for Fall Applicants

We know many of your students are eagerly awaiting their admission decision from Texas A&M and we understand how stressful time this can be for both them and you. We are working hard to release decisions as quickly as possible and wanted to provide an glance at some on our current admissions status and timeline.

We received nearly 75,000 applications for Fall 2025 – a 13% increase from last year.
Applications from students who qualified for automatic Top 10% admission has increased by 11%.
Our overall freshman admission goals remain the same as last year.

As you see, this is shaping up to be our most competitive admission cycle yet.

We are currently finalizing the remaining full offers of admission and expect to begin releasing alternative admission pathways (Waitlist/Blinn TEAM and Engineering pathways consideration) in the coming weeks. Please note that students offered these pathways are not guaranteed admission and must respond to the survey by March 15. Final offers from these populations will be made by April 1.

We will also extend direct offers to TEAM, Engineering at Galveston, the Higher Education Center at McAllen and Gateway by early February followed by Program for System Admission offers. The deadline to accept these offers if May 1.

As your students review their offers, please encourage them to reach out to their Texas A&M admissions representative with any questions. Many of our Regional Prospective Student Centers will be offering sessions to help students better understand the options and determine whether or not a program is the best fit for their educational goals.

Credential Appeals

Students whose admission files were incomplete at deadline have until February 1 to submit an appeal. For an appeal to be considered, the missing document must be due to circumstances beyond the student’s control. All appeals must be initiated by an Admissions representative. To learn more about the appeal process, students may contact Aggie One Stop at 979-845-1060.
