What a blessing to celebrate two amazing CSSM volunteers! Mrs. Leslie Suffoletta and Mrs. Julie Shea have worked with so many of our students each week since 2019!!! After each raising their own children with great success, they now dedicate their time to our children. May God continue to bless Leslie and Julie in great abundance!

¡Qué bendición celebrar a dos voluntarias extraordinarias de CSSM! ¡¡¡La Sra. Leslie Suffoletta y la Sra. Julie Shea han trabajado con muchísimos de nuestros alumnos cada semana desde 2019!!! Tras haber criado con gran éxito a sus propios hijos, ahora dedican su tiempo a los nuestros. ¡Que Dios siga bendiciendo a Leslie y a Julie en gran abundancia!

Great news! Yesterday on June 11, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops consecrated the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Isn't that amazing?

"And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers." -Malachi 4:6

Let's join together in offering this prayer in great thanksgiving to our precious Jesus for His Most Sacred Heart and to God the Father for His plentiful graces in granting us this great blessing!

Happiest of birthdays to our most dear Mrs. Coonan! It was June 3, and we wish her a whole month of celebrations. Mrs. Kathy Wertis Coonan is a retired CSSM teacher who has been volunteering for 10 years, leading countless groups of students in myriad learning adventures from the garden and well beyond, in addition to supporting our teachers and staff professionally (lessons), physically (snacks) and spiritually through her friendship and prayers. God bless Mrs. Coonan today and always!!!

¡Muchísimas felicidades en su cumpleaños a nuestra queridísima Sra. Coonan! Su cumpleaños fue el 3 de junio, y le deseamos un mes entero de celebraciones. La Sra. Coonan es una maestra jubilada de CSSM que lleva 10 años como voluntaria, guiando a innumerables grupos de alumnos en una gran variedad de aventuras de aprendizaje —desde el jardín escolar y más allá—, además de brindar apoyo a nuestros maestros y al personal en los ámbitos profesional (con lecciones), físico (con refrigerios) y espiritual, a través de su amistad y sus oraciones. ¡¡¡Que Dios bendiga a la Sra. Coonan hoy y siempre!!!

When was your last walk down Memory Lane? This week we welcomed back CSSM Alumni John Simecek and Jesse Casarez, Class of 1963, for a great visit filled with stories of our school history and a clear testomonies to the power of Catholic education!
