The Associate of Arts Degree equips students with a transferable two-year college Radio-Telev

ision-Film education, through immersive courses in screen storytelling, creative digital production and media studies. Workforce Certificates train students for careers in film, television and video, with a focus on current and emerging technologies, and developing the art and craft to use the tools meaningfully. Hands-on experience in our state of the art production studio and labs, instructors who are active in the local creative scene, guest speakers, field trips and internships all combine to provide a great entry into the world of creative media.

Austin Community College is looking for student actors, ADM students, and anyone interested in being on camera or doing voice-over work! These paid opportunities will feature student talent across ACCTV programming, commercials, marketing videos, and social content.

The Austin City Limits Fest Career Fair is taking place on September 2nd, offering students direct access to paid roles, hands-on industry experience, and networking in live music, media, hospitality, and event production.

Event Details:

Date: Tuesday, September 2nd

Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: ACC Highland Campus - Social Staircase - Bldg 1000

Who Should Attend: Students interested in music business, RTF/media, audio production, hospitality, event operations, guest services, and security.

Types of Open Roles:

Stage crew, lighting, and audio/video technicians

Artist relations, VIP, and hospitality staff

Entry gates, guest services, and fan experience

Site operations, food & beverage, and merch logistics.

The project will begin filming on September 8, 2026 in Georgetown Texas The pilot is being shot from Glenn Towery’s award winning screenplay. It is the story of a Former US Army Officer and Afghanistan combat veteran who launches his own program to help veterans with PTSD in a multimillion dollar facility in Georgetown Texas.

Actively enrolled in the RTF Streaming TV Production AAS, Creative Podcasting, or Event Videography Degree?
Here are 3 ACC RTF Workforce plan courses with some spaces still left.
1) At Eastview, you can take your first-level camera production class RTVB 1231 TV/Video Field Production. This class is also a part of the ATI Audio-Visual Technician Certificate , and an option for students in the PVM Visual Media Specialization AAS. 2) At Eastview, you can learn scripting formats for PSA, Event Promos, Commercials, Podcasts, news and more. RTVB 1329 -002 is in the Streaming TV AAS, Creative Podcasting and Event Videography plans.
3) At Highland, learn to write and create an interactive story - without coding! RTVB 2351-001 Program Development for Radi & TV: Interactive, applies to the Streaming TV AAS, and Event VIdeography Certificate.
