The TGCA is set for a pivotal week, starting with the presentation of the 1A-4A Cheerleader of the Year award in Ferris on Monday and followed by preparations for Summer Clinic in Arlington on Tuesday. Meetings with area Athletic Directors are scheduled in Dallas on Wednesday and in The Valley on Friday, with attendance at the TABC Clinic in San Antonio on Thursday, highlighting the significant commitment to serve the member coaches of the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Sam Tipton, Executive Director of the Texas Girls Coaches Associaton, is always emphasizing the importance of the coaches of girls athletics and cheer. TGCA is so proud of the quality of coaches leading and mentoring female athletes on a daily basis. Athletics and cheer are instrumental in helping mold individuals in the educational process. We are Texas Proud of these dedicated coaches.

The athletic calendar is in full swing, with UIL State Championships imminent in sports such as golf, tennis, track & field, softball, and baseball. These events are complimented by banquets, proms, and graduations, as well as significant UIL academic competitions. Our appreciation goes to the teachers and coaches who work diligently with minimal recognition, often leading them to consider their challenging circumstances as standard.
