Austin’s premier tasting event is turning 30! 🍽️

Join Communities In Schools of Central Texas for Food for Thought 2026: Recipes for the Future on Thursday, Oct. 29, at ACL Live at the Moody Theater.

This milestone event brings together some of Austin’s most celebrated restaurants in support of students across Central Texas. Proceeds help provide academic support, mental health resources, college and career guidance, family services and enriching experiences that help students build the futures they envision.

Earlier this year, a study from Harvard and Cornell of more than 16 million Texas students confirmed that Communities In Schools' integrated student supports model changes lives.

Students with three years of CIS support experienced:
🎓 5.2% higher graduation rates
📚 9.1% higher two-year college enrollment
💼 More than $75,000 in increased lifetime earnings (or $36,000 in present-day value)
