Last month, we shared music with some precious residents at a retirement home. So special to see their faces light up and hear them hum along with the piano!

Definitely making performances like this a staple in our studio!

Little throwback to our last formal recital in Rockwall this year. I'm so proud of these kids and their commitment to excellence!

Village Piano Studio has officially moved to Austin, and I already miss these sweet musicians. Can't wait to see how they continue to grow with their new teachers moving forward!

🏠 Proffitt Piano Studio is moving AND changing names!

Since launching PPS in 2015, I’ve taught over 100 students from New York City, South Carolina, and Texas. Now, with my last name changing, a new studio name is in order. 🥲

The word “village” captures my heart behind teaching, the studio community I seek to build, and the sense of belonging I hope every student and their family feels at each lesson and event.
