We love the TTRS (Touch Type Read Spell) program! Just like in its name, it helps with both touch-typing *and* spelling.
Now, it’s not a substitute for a structured spelling program - - but it is great for reinforcement.

Some of the many benefits of homeschooling:
✅ reading in whatever position works best for the individual student
✅ being able to move around as necessary
✅ continuing to read past the “time-slot” alloted for it
✅ letting the student choose their own book to study in-depth for the semester (𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒚)

We had a slow summer (between family vacations, then Long Covid). And we’ve been ALL CONSUMED by soccer and volunteer work for the past month….
So we’ll start back to our regular homeschooling schedule after Labor Day. Excited about our plans for this year’s “curriculum”!
