Teachers and staff were treated to a LOVEly week full of delicious food. The fabulous Staff Lunch chairs Allison Thompson and Lynne Sweeny organized a Baldinucci’s pizza/salad lunch with heart cookies on Tuesday and a bagels and coffee breakfast for staff on Friday morning! 💘❤️💙

We had some mighty impressive WHS students at the Cougar Club meeting this morning to answer questions about the transition to high school. Thanks to everyone who attended!

• Jan 29: Rising 9th Grade Parent Meeting, 5:30pm at HCMS Cafeteria

• 1st week of February: HCMS Counselors go into HCMS classrooms to go over course options

• Feb 12: Parent Night @ WHS PAC

• Feb 25-28: WHS Counselors meet with HCMS students to get enrolled into classes

• Mar 13: deadline for 4-year plan

Join us next week for our first general meeting of 2026! We will have a panel of WHS students there to answer all your questions. Beforehand, make sure your 8th grader is at school at 8am in order for them to get some student-on-student time with the highschoolers. No matter the age of your kiddo, you’re certain to get some good info — see you there!

We’d love to invite you to speak at the HCMS Career Fair! Jan. 23, 8:45am - 10:30am. It requires little to no prep; you’ll have a table like at an exhibit fair, and students will come around to ask questions. You’re welcome to bring a few props to describe your work.

We have so many interesting and talented parents at our school, and we’d love to make our 8th graders aware of different career fields. The kids get so much out of these 90 minutes, learning about a wide array of careers and gaining experience in speaking with professionals about their interests. Would you consider joining us?
