Austin Creative Art Center

Austin Creative Art Center ACAC is an educational fine art school offering painting, drawing, sculpture & ceramics for all ages.

Austin Creative Art Center is an educational fine arts school that gives instruction to guide students through creative processes that enhance understanding of art and design and reveal personal and cultural connections. ACAC was founded with the belief that art is universal and fundamental to communication and culture. The process of visually expressing yourself can open doors that lead to deeper

consciousness and emotional, spiritual, physical and intellectual faculties. We believe that creating art helps you discover who you really are - beyond boundaries, beyond limitations and beyond definitions. Communicating through fine art is the most ancient form of human expression - crossing language barriers and providing global connections of minds and hearts. ACAC's curriculum provides learning opportunities that guide students through the fundamentals of art. The goal is to develop technical skills, learn art history and explore contemporary culture to inspire students to see the world in innovative ways.

“Our philosophy is simple - we teach individuals not only the tools for success in the way they express art, but also tools for success in how they express life,” said Founder of ACAC Zoey Upshaw. ACAC guides all ages how to create fine art - offering imaginative concepts, quality tools and techniques to expand the mind, enhance critical thinking and provide a greater understanding of life’s possibilities. The ACAC curriculum teaches students how to paint, draw, sculpt, print and so much more through class instruction and individual attention. Students become immersed in projects - producing masterpieces that affirm creative processes, build self-confidence and broaden horizons.
