We are currently enrolling for our Summer 2026 semester of jewelry-making classes at Austin Community College! Classes are already beginning to fill; if the desired class is full, get on the waitlist β€” we usually have some openings after the first payment deadline. All of our classes are also available as Continuing Education.

We have classes in fabrication, casting, repair, stonesetting, engraving, business, and more! No prior experience necessary β€” beginners are always welcome! βš’οΈπŸ”₯πŸ’

Join us next Tuesday for a special guest presentation by TechForm Casting! TechForm is located in Portland, Oregon and specializes in the production casting of precious metals, namely gold and platinum. This presentation will cover topics such as basic metallurgy, the nuances of production casting, and designing with optimal casting outcomes in mind. This is a great opportunity to hear directly from an expert in this field who has extensive experience in both CAD and casting.

βš’οΈπŸ”₯✨THERE ARE STILL A FEW SEATS LEFT in my Spring Metal Forming Class! First class is Jan 22, and will be every M/W morning from 9-1140. I have a ton of awesome projects in store and will also be presenting a quarterly Special Topic!! I’m working really hard on fine tuning the curriculum to be suitable for all, and we’ll explore many different techniques for achieving great results!

Special Topics: Introduction to Chainmaille | ACC Jewelry Department | Learn to Create Jewelry in Austin, Texas 10/29/2025

Austin Community College’s Jewelry Department is offering a full semester course on weaving Chainmaille this Spring! Taught by Deborah Wilson Taylor of Femailler, this course utilizes fully online asynchronous training, and is available as both Credit or Continuing Education. When registering for this 16-week long class through Continuing Education, the price is kept affordable (about $400 in tuition, and about another $250 in tools, materials, and fees). And because the class is delivered online, students can enroll from anywhere in the country.
