We're hiring an Outreach and Scholarships Coordinator! Join our team to make a difference! We're looking for a self-starter with an interest in the Eastern European and Russian region who can work as well independently as within a team.
The Outreach and Scholarships Coordinator helps fulfill the Title VI National Resource Center grant programming commitments for the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies and the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies. This includes working with UT's other area studies programs on K-16 teacher trainings and outreach programming and fulfilling other related commitments outlined in our Title VI NRC grant proposal. Additionally, this position coordinates the FLAS Fellows program and other departmental scholarships and student funding initiatives.

The Payne Fellowship is similar to the U.S. State Department Pickering and Rangel Fellowships for graduate study. It is intended to support students pursuing their MA degrees before entering U.S. foreign service in the field of global development. These are highly prestigious awards that cover the full cost of earning an MA and offer placement in USAID after graduation.
Undergraduate (sophomore, junior and senior) students and recent graduates who have not yet applied for graduate school are especially encouraged to attend.
In addition, IPD will be offering writing professional development sessions during the fall semester and applicants to the Payne, Pickering, Rangle, Truman, Rhodes, and other major information affairs-related fellowship competitions are welcome to join. Further information will be posted soon on IPD’s website at http://www.ipdutexas.org.
