Jared from Two Hives Honey came out and smoked the bees this morning so volunteers could clean up the apiary. Good news - he says the hives and queens are healthy and lots of eggs. On another note, Sam and Deb learned the hard way that when a bee stings you it releases a pheromone to let other bees know to sting you as well 🩹🩹🩹

🌱 Join Us for Our Monthly Workday! 🌿
Our workdays typically kick off on the first Saturday of every month, but please check the Garden Calendar for any holiday or event adjustments. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just looking to get your hands dirty, the general community is warmly welcome to join us!
We’ll start by catching up on projects from our last Gardener’s meeting, but if you’re ready to jump straight into action, here are some essential tasks we tackle together:
✨ Weeding common areas & walkways ✨ Picking up trash ✨ Laying fresh cardboard & mulch ✨ Checking hoses/faucets for leaks ✨
Come hang out, learn, and help our garden thrive! 🚜🥕
