Along with We’re bringing in not one but TWO major hitters in the DANCEABLE WORLD OF MUSIC™️. .official, our fourth guest in a row from Canada, and one half of the seminal minimal wave band Essaie Pas will be unleashing a special DJ set. There is rarely a set of ours that goes by with out one of her songs being featured. Joining her is .spheres the Manchester UK based wonder with big releases on labels like his own imprint Fruit Merchant and Lobster Theremin, Rhythm Section, Moods & Grooves. He’s also a resident at Public Records as well.
It’s going to be a super stacked night with musical selections across the wild spectrum of this beloved genre of electronic dance music.

We had this grand plan of promoting our 15 year anniversary with 15 memory posts each day for 15 days leading up to this Friday. You know what...life's hard though. Kids, work, streaming TV, deadlines, stress, gluttony, shame, and down-right laziness are cornerstones in the LS foundation. There's always a reason to put off what you can accomplish today until tomorrow, and for us, we put off for about 13 tomorrows. That said, it's been a wild 15 years! There's that time we booked Frankie Knuckles for one of his last sets ever. Or that wild af house party we threw with Hot Chip and Drums of Death. The 15 million times we had members of the DFA records fam come through; James Murphy, Nancy Whang, Holy Ghost!, Juan Maclean, Still Going, etc etc. The funny time we had 10 people come to Kingdom to experience Young Marco. Or the 100 folks that came to Republic Live for Erol Alkan. However, we also had those really magical nights with the guys from Phoenix. A Guy Called Gerald's way way way out there live set last year. Or every single time Tim Sweeney, the Learning Secrets MVP, has come to town to turn out something special.
The party has been through so many different stages and changes, but the one constant has been you, the fans, the dancers, the wall huggers, the bar riders, the set-list shazamers, the friends. Without y'all, we are nothing.

We hope we see y'all on Friday at Coconut Club. We're taking over the entire venue for the night. All kinds of music, all over the place.

Even more party news! An important element to any voyage into the sea of sonic exploration is smoke, lights, and visuals. We're lucky to have our eternal homie, JU4N Juan Cisneros if you're nasty, crawling up into the crows nest of The North Door to do his special visual treatment to ease our consciousness through the valley's and peaks of the journey our musical sherpa, BZ Phillip (Bradley Zero) will be taking us on. Pack your bags, wear comfortable shoes, bring a change of underwear, and open your mind. One day left!

Y'all know what's rad, Bradley Zero, the UK based DJ and Rhythm Section label owner who's DJing our party THIS Saturday... Bradley Zero at The North Door...well he let me know that he want's to play a sort of extended set, and get the chance to actually warm up the room. I jumped at the chance. I mean how could I not? Anywho, he'll start his sonic journey for us at 11:30pm and play straight through until 2:00am! Wicked. Here's a tasty mellow burner from the Boiler Room vaults for y'all to vibe out to.
