Building strong attendance takes all of us. 💙

🌟 Class of 2026 Matriculation Spotlight: Dixie & Natalie!

Today, two of our Class of 2026 scholars took their college journeys beyond Texas! 💙

🌲 Dixie Morales officially began her first day at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, while 🍀 Natalie Gonzalez started her journey at Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts!

Both Dixie and Natalie took a big leap during their senior year by applying Early Decision to universities outside of Texas — and that leap paid off! Through the financial aid and scholarship opportunities they received, more than 85% of their college tuition and housing costs are being covered by their universities and scholarship programs. 🎓💰

Their stories are a reminder that going out of state for college does not always mean taking on a bigger financial burden. With strong applications, financial aid, scholarships, and the courage to explore opportunities beyond what feels familiar, our scholars can access incredible universities across the country!

We are so proud of Dixie and Natalie for betting on themselves, stepping outside of their comfort zones, and representing IDEA Bluff Springs all the way from Portland to Boston! ✈️💙
