CHLLSA had an incredible time attending the Hispanic National Bar Association Convention in Maryland! ⚖️

Throughout the convention, we had the opportunity to connect with Hispanic attorneys, judges, and law students from across the country representing a wide range of practice areas and career paths. From leadership and business development sessions to discussions on emerging legal issues and different areas of law, every conversation and presentation offered valuable insight into the legal profession.

And while we were there, we also got to explore a little bit of Washington, D.C. and take in some of the history and sights the city has to offer! ✈️🇺🇸

Thank you to HNBA for an inspiring and unforgettable experience and to Texas Law for providing us the opportunity to attend this convention. We’re excited to bring back what we learned to our CHLLSA community! 🧡

🧡 CHLLSA Welcome Parrillada Recap 🧡

Good food, great people, and even better company!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Welcome Parrillada. Seeing so many students come together, make new friends, and build connections reminded us exactly why CHLLSA exists.

We’re proud to continue building a community that feels like family. This year is already off to an amazing start! 🔥🌮🤘

Hola familia!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at De Nada’s to welcome some of our incoming 1Ls! It was wonderful getting to meet so many new faces and start building connections before the semester begins. We’re so excited to have you all as part of the CHLLSA family and can’t wait to share more events, memories, and opportunities with you throughout the year.

See you all again soon! 🤘🧡

Hola familia!! We hope everyone is having an amazing summer!! We’re excited to spotlight some of our members and the incredible opportunities they’ve been pursuing this summer. From law firms to judicial internships to public interest work, CHLLSA members have been gaining valuable experience, building connections, and making an impact!

Incoming 2L, Fernando Rivera is spending his summer at the 68th District Court in Dallas, where he’s working on legal research, bench memoranda, and more! We love seeing our members pursue opportunities that support their professional growth and career goals!

This summer, incoming 2L, Nadia Pouya joined Troutman Pepper Locke’s Austin office as a Summer Associate! She had the opportunity to participate in litigation and regulatory work, learn from experienced attorneys, and gain insight into the day-to-day practice of law.

We’re excited to spotlight Mariana Ruffo (incoming 2L), who is spending her summer in Chicago at Life Span, an immigration and sexual violence clinic as an Immigration Clerk. She is doing amazing work giving back to the community and building her legal skills!
