Earlier this week the young men at Garcia YMLA received a visit from Lowe's who gave generous donation of tools and vegetables for their Garden Club. Culinary Arts Teacher, Melissa Autry, is one of the club sponsors and is working to make the garden a central part of her course.

The team started yesterday off by visiting Spa Day hosted by the Cosmetology class at Crockett ECHS. Every Friday the Salon is open for business. We thoroughly enjoyed the services and the chats with the students. They were very intrigued to understand our role at AISD and the connection to their classes!
