✨ Another ACC Desk Tour is here! This time, we’re visiting the office of Emily Demerath, senior director of the student affairs staff development department. This semester features three engaging book clubs focused on topics that support innovative, student-centered teaching, from Universal Design for Learning to online instruction and evidence-based learning strategies.

📣 Help connect students to Basic Needs resources and support!
This semester, more than 7,000 ACC students have completed the Student Basic Needs Questionnaire. Let’s continue spreading the word so more students have an opportunity to identify resources they may need for food, housing, childcare, mental health, and other essential needs before the questionnaire closes. Students who identify a need can receive follow-up from ACC’s CARE coordination team.

Here’s how faculty can help spread the word. Choose from one of the following:

🔔 Create a Blackboard announcement
💬 Mention it in class

🎁 The questionnaire closes Friday, Sept. 25. Students who complete it by the deadline will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five $50 Amazon gift cards or an ACC swag bag.
