Congratulations to Rookie of the Year Annalise Martinez. Ms. Martinez has been an incredible addition to the Laurel Ridge team, joining a little over a year ago as a math teacher and immediately making her mark. Her classroom is a model of strong instruction, positive culture, and student engagement. She brings clarity, consistency, and genuine enthusiasm to her work each day, and her students thrive because of it. We are proud to recognize her outstanding contributions and celebrate this well‑deserved honor

Last week, UT Charter celebrated a momentous achievement: the first graduate of our Nexus Health Systems Dallas campus! This milestone reflects the determination of our students, the dedication of our educators and the commitment of the Nexus Dallas team to prioritize education for the children they serve.

"This is one of the coolest signings you will see anywhere, today Londen Bickham of Methodist Children's Home signed to play football at UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio. Londen came to the Methodist Children's Home about eight years ago and in his time there he has thrived in athletics and now he will be going from playing 6-man football to be playing Division I, which is honestly a rare accomplishment." - Royden Ogletree, KWTX
