Stepping Stone School Delivering the highest quality in Early Childhood Education in Central Texas. Austin's favorite Day C Rhonda Paver and her husband Bill moved to Austin in 1979.

Discouraged by the lack of quality child care, Rhonda started her own school to give other parents the same level of care that she gave her own children. The core philosophy was based on earning the trust of parents, who soon found Stepping Stone School a solid bridge between work and home. As the number of schools expanded, Rhonda went to great lengths to ensure that her rigorous standards were n

ot diminished by the expansion. Today, the Stepping Stone training program and Quality Review system are at the cutting edge of the Early Care and Education field. The same values that Rhonda believed in at the beginning - the value of each and every child as a unique human being; the commitment to nurturing all children physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially; and the assurance to parents that their children are safe, secure and loved - are still at the very heart of the organization.

Watching our children dive into two new languages with so much joy has been amazing. Language immersion at this age builds not just vocabulary, but confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

🎉 Celebrating 28 Years at Stepping Stone School Leander! 🎉

In 1998, Stepping Stone School designed and built its third campus from the ground up on Block House Drive in Leander. The land was set aside by the developer to make sure families in the new neighborhood had access to high-quality early care and education from day one.

Twenty-eight years later, we're still proud to serve families across Cedar Park and Leander, and grateful for every child and family who has been part of our story along the way.

Here's to 28 years of growing together, and many more to come!

🎉 Big news from The Diamond Club!

Our Young Entrepreneurs & Philanthropists™ program raised an incredible $6,214.93 this year. With Rhonda's generous matching donation, we will be donating a total of $12,429.86 to Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas this year!

These children spent the summer learning what it means to give back, and their hard work is making a real difference for families in our community. This brings our total giving to over $145,000!

So proud of these young philanthropists!

🎉 Celebrating 30 Years at Stepping Stone School Cat Hollow! 🎉

In 1996, Stepping Stone School built its second campus from the ground up, on O'Connor Drive in Round Rock! Back then, there weren't any other buildings in the area. Three decades later, we're still proud to serve families in the Cat Hollow community.

And of course, no Cat Hollow celebration would be complete without a shoutout to our beloved dinosaur display, the feature that's captured children's imaginations for decades! 🦕 Generations of children have loved it, and it remains one of the most iconic parts of our campus.

Thank you to all the families who have been part of our story. Here's to 30 years, and many more adventures ahead!
