We need teachers!! Come work where you can be encouraged each day and have FUN with littles. We believe in learning through play, spending time outdoors and teaching little ones about God's BIG love for them! We are part time--Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 9-2 and follow a school-year calendar. Great for moms with the big kids in school or retirees that want a few less hours. Rates $16-$18/hour.

The preschool Fall Festival was full of animal cuddles and a fall sensory experiences! A bit hot and humid but we were so thankful for the cloud cover. Thank you ! For bringing a van full of pure joy to the kids and teachers, alike!

Preschool teachers, no matter their height, firmly believe in modeling for their children. Let’s ride a trike!! 😂 In all honestly, Ms. Kristi can talk to you for 30 minutes on all the wonderful development that comes from a child learning to pedal a trike.

First day of preschool!!! It was so wonderful to have kiddos back at school today. Gosh, how they grow over the summer!! On a personal note, my last first day of preschool as both a mommy and director. 😢

If when I’ve mentioned before that we’re hiring teachers and you thought, “Oh, that would be fun!” but didn’t contact me, don’t let this opportunity pass you by again. This post, this nudge, it’s a sign—we need you! We have FUN! These kids are the cutest around and we’ll teach you all you need to know. 😉 School starts after Labor Day and we like to have plenty of hands, hiring over the required number of teachers to ensure their day is smooth as can be. Twinkies in training! How cute are these two who showed up to CPR/First Aid training in matching dresses and sneakers? We are gearing up to see our preschoolers on September 7th!

Last week, our HPP teachers spent a day and a half at the wonderful Early Childhood Christian Network conference. Always fabulous presenters helping us learn more about brain development, practical classroom ideas and, of course, the incredible benefits of PLAY! We also got to tour a dreamy outdoor classroom. Those of you who know Ms. Taylor know she loves a welcoming book nook. You might NOT know that Ms.Isabel has an extreme fear of all things slimy and squirmy—she tackled her fears like a champ! All this to say…we are beyond excited for the new school year to begin this September. Be sure to wear your play clothes!!

You KNOW you want to join this group of crazy fun ladies and work at Hyde Park Preschool this year! WE ARE HIRING and need some awesome people with two major qualifications—must love Jesus and kiddos! That’s it! We’ll get you trained and will pair you with another experienced teacher.
