One is just beginning. One is graduating today. ๐๐
A simple cap passed from senior to kindergartener became a reminder of what TSD is all about โ believing in your future before you even fully understand how far you can go.
For our seniors, today marks the end of one journey and the start of another. For our youngest Rangers, the story is only beginning. And between them is a shared belief that anything is possible.

One final walk. One lasting legacy.
Today, the senior class made their traditional Senior Walk across campus as students, staff, and families gathered outside to cheer them on one last time. From the places where they learned and grew to the memories shared throughout their years at TSD, this walk marked the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.
During the ceremony, the Class President and Vice President proudly carried the class key before passing it on to the upcoming senior leadership โ a meaningful tradition that reminds us each class leaves something behind for the next to carry forward.
We also celebrated our Class of 2026 valedictorian, Sean Winegard, and salutatorian, Cameron Blalock, for their incredible achievements and leadership throughout their journey at TSD.
The day ended with the unveiling of the senior composite photo, which will now hang on campus as a permanent part of TSD history.
Once a Ranger, always a Ranger.

Big milestones for our youngest Rangers and rising leaders. ๐๐
We celebrated our Kindergarten students as they begin their journey and our 5th graders as they take the next step forward. From first lessons to growing confidence, each student reminded us what it means to learn, grow, and belong at TSD.
Congratulations to the Class of 2038 and our amazing 5th graders students. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.

TSD Debate continues to make history on the national stage. ๐
This year, our high school debate program earned its sixth consecutive national championship title, while our middle school team brought home its first national championship in program history at the Youth Debate Bowl hosted by Gallaudet University.
From powerful arguments to confident leadership, these students represented TSD with excellence, determination, and pride throughout the competition.
Congratulations to all of our debaters and coaches for an unforgettable year and for continuing to raise the standard of excellence for TSD nationwide.

Smiles, gowns, and memories thatโll last forever. ๐ค๐
Just a few seniors soaking in the moment, making memories, and celebrating how far theyโve come. Nothing but a good time as graduation gets closer.
This is what celebration looks like.

The wait is over! A new playground is now open for our elementary students, a space built just for them to learn, play, and be kids. Thank you to TSD Foundation, The Walkup Family, NW Sertoma Club of Austin, and Friends of TSD for making this possible.

Our U.S. History students had the opportunity to visit the Texas Capitol, where learning went beyond the classroom and into real-world experiences.
With guidance from Superintendent Peter Bailey and Communications Supervisor Erin Schumacher, students explored the Capitol, learned how government works in action, and met individuals who support and advocate for TSD in their own ways.
From walking through important spaces to hearing firsthand about leadership and service, students gained a deeper understanding of how their voices can make an impact.
Moments like this remind our students that their voices belong in every space. Thank you for welcoming us and sharing your time.
