Pflugerville Independent School District provides the PfISD page for the district and community. • Breaks the law or encourages others to do so. This includes respecting copyright and fair use laws.
• Contains abusive or inappropriate language or statements including racist, homophobic, sexist, obscene and sexually explicit remarks.
• Easily identifies students and/or staff in defamatory, abusive, or generally negative terms.
• Does not show proper consideration for others’ privacy or respect.
• Is considered to likely offend or provoke others into arguments or hate speech.
• Advertises or promotes a product or service for personal gain. All discussion posts may be deleted after a 30-day period in order to maintain the most current information of the PfISD page. Pflugerville ISD is not responsible for user-generated content and the opinions expressed in that content do not necessarily reflect those of PfISD. To report an inappropriate comment you have seen on our page, please e-mail the PfISD Community Relations department at [email protected]. Although the PfISD page administrators aim to provide feedback to Facebook comments, they may not be able to reply to every comment. Congratulations to Mr. Howard, our very first Dragon's Flame Award winner! This award celebrates a staff member who has gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on our students and campus.
Mr. Howard holds consistent expectations with his class, builds genuine relationships with his students, and takes feedback and runs with it, putting it into practice right away. He's also been working hard to get strong systems in place so learning happens every day in his room, with safety always top of mind in the halls, and he does it all with a smile, giving his best to his students day in and day out.
As this week's winner, Mr. Howard gets to keep the trophy for the week, park in the Staff Member of the Week spot up front, and enjoy a Starbucks gift card to fuel up on us. He'll also get to choose next week's recipient, so keep an eye out for who he passes the flame to!

El Sr. Howard mantiene expectativas claras y constantes en su clase, construye relaciones auténticas con sus alumnos y aprovecha al máximo las sugerencias que recibe, poniéndolas en práctica de inmediato. Además, se esfuerza por implementar sistemas sólidos que garanticen el aprendizaje diario en su aula y prioriza siempre la seguridad en los pasillos; todo esto lo hace con una sonrisa, dando lo mejor de sí a sus estudiantes día tras día.
Como ganador de esta semana, el Sr. Howard conservará el trofeo durante estos días, podrá estacionar su vehículo en el espacio reservado para el "Miembro del Personal de la Semana" (ubicado en la entrada principal) y disfrutará de una tarjeta de regalo de Starbucks, cortesía nuestra. También será él quien elija al próximo ganador, ¡así que estén atentos para ver a quién le pasa la antorcha!

☀️Sunshine Cart Day at Dessau Elementary! ☀️

This morning we rolled through the halls to spoil our incredible staff with iced coffee and fresh muffins — because “we appreciate you a latte!” ☕💛

From our teachers to our support staff, every single person on this campus pours into our Dragons every day, and we wanted to take a moment to pour a little something back into them.

Thank you for all that you do. Once a Dragon, always a Dragon! 🐉❤️

Ms.Lu has been using Mod Pizza boxes as the perfect Sketchbook storage for our young artists
She told the students that she had to eat 100 pizzas to get all these boxes, but the truth is….

Carlos and Jay at Mod Pizza-Tech Ridge went above and beyond to support our Dessau Elementary Dragons.
They supplied pizza boxes, coupons for students and staff, Mod Pizza certificates, info about their establishment, and said to reach out when we have events at the school! Thank you Mod Pizza-Tech Ridge, Dessau Elementary is forever grateful for your generosity!
