Rooster Springs Elementary School

Rooster Springs Elementary School Rooster Springs Elementary (RSE), DSISD's first neighborhood school, is home to students in Pre-K through 5th grade.

The RSE faculty and staff are committed to providing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all children and strive to equip students to become life-long learners. The school's success is the product of a strong home-school connection that supports the belief of doing whatever it takes to ensure the educational growth of all students.

Being proactive means “I am in charge of me!” We can’t always choose what happens, but we can choose how we respond. 💚

🏡 Habits at Home: Try These Ideas!

✨ Give choices: “Would you like to do your homework before or after snack?”

✨ Use proactive language: Encourage your child to say, “I can try,” “I can make a good choice,” or “I can ask for help.”

✨ Pause before reacting: When emotions run high, practice stopping, taking a breath, and choosing a helpful response.

Small choices build big leaders!
