cs. The target class size is 15 students in elementary and middle school. Students come from 62 zipcodes around Austin. One of our favorite SFS traditions kicked off this week as our Buddy Homerooms came together for the first time! Each homeroom is paired with another, giving every student the chance to be a big buddy or a little buddy.

Some buddy groups built up the suspense by exchanging secret notes and clues before meeting, while others sent drawings with sweet “can’t wait to meet you!” messages. Then came the big reveal and the excitement was everywhere.

New friendships, big smiles, and lots of Wolfpack energy to wrap up another great week of learning!

🐺Meet the powerhouse that is St. Francis Athletics!
⚽️🏀🏈🏐⛳️🏹🏃‍♀️

✨Kiel Hoek joins the Wolfpack as our Athletic Director, leading our middle school athletics program and helping build what’s next for SFS sports.

✨Blake Edwards is our Head of the PE Department & Elementary Sports Coordinator — and is already working toward bringing more organized after-school athletics to our younger Wolves soon!

✨And Isaiah Gonzalez is new-ish to this crew, but definitely not new to St. Francis. After several years supporting Aftercare (and earning the unofficial title of most requested sub!), Isaiah now joins Blake to co-teach PE for students in PreK–4.

We’re excited about this team and all the energy they’re bringing to PE and Athletics this year. Go Wolves! 🐺🏆

UMS is officially in action! Our Upper Middle School athletes kicked off practices on the field and in the gym, bringing energy, focus, and plenty of Wolfpack spirit.

Fall Athletics are officially underway!

LMS Flag Football cooled down after some great work on the field, while our volleyball players got right to work in the gym with their coaches, including one of our own, SFS alum Ava Rollins!

The last few days of school hit different. Signing yearbooks (and socks!), emptying lockers, cheering on our kindergartners AND our 8th graders as they walk across the stage - it’s bittersweet in the best way.
