Building Our Dream City! ✨🌃

Inspired by If I Built a House by Chris VanDusen, our friends in the Eagles classroom have been busy planning, creating, and building their very own fantasy city! First, they designed their dream houses, then began creating different parts of their city. Now, they’re putting it all together and adding roadways! 🛣️🚗

This project has taken many days of planning, creativity, cooperation, and teamwork. Our friends have been so engaged that they spent nearly an hour working together! 🤝💡

We love seeing emergent curriculum in action as the children’s own ideas guide their learning. Their creativity has been incredible—from churches and schools to libraries, pizza and donut shops, underwater houses, and even a rocket ship! 🚀🌊
