🍎🍏APPLE WEEK!! 🥧🌳It’s Apple Week in the Double Rainbow Room! One of our favorite units to learn about as it’s one that uses all 5 senses. The week so far has been filled with apple-inspired learning and fun. The children have enjoyed the apple orchard set up in dramatic play where they enjoyed selling apple products for high dollars! They made apple scented play dough, cooked applesauce and enjoyed an apple taste test where they got to vote on their favorite apple. We are excited to see what the rest of the week has in store. 🍎 👅 🥧

🕯️Our first Chapel with Mother Kelly ⛪️🐑 Today was a very special day as we gathered for our first Chapel with Mother Kelly, our new Children’s Ministry Leader. The children learned some new songs, and listened to the story Parable of the Lost Sheep. We are so excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to all the stories, songs, and lessons we’ll learn with Mother Kelly along the way.

Today was extra special around St. George’s as we welcomed some of our favorite people—Grandparents! 🥰✨
Our little Dragons were SO excited to show off their classrooms, introduce their friends, explore the playground, and give their grandparents a little peek into their world at St. George’s.
There were so many sweet hugs, proud smiles, giggles, and precious moments shared throughout the day.
Thank you to all of our wonderful grandparents for joining us and filling our day with so much love! Happy Grandparent”s Day!! 👵 ❤️ 👴

☕️💬 Coffee, Chat & Community! 💬☕️
What a wonderful way to kick off a new school year! Our PTF hosted the first Coffee & Chat of the year, and we loved welcoming new faces to campus and also reconnecting with familiar ones!
From chatting about school to sharing a little about life, it was a great morning filled with coffee, conversation, and community! We’re so excited for all that this school year has in store.

Our first PTF meeting will be held on Friday, September 4th at 8:30 AM in Kleberg Hall
At this meeting, we’ll be voting on what to fundraise for the 2026-2027 school year. We would love to have you join us to vote on your favorite fundraising idea. We’ll see you there!

🎒We officially kicked off a brand-new school year today! 💛 And while there may have been a few tears (from little ones and maybe even a few grown-ups 😉), we are taking it all in stride!
Starting something new can be a big transition for our little learners, but not to worry—we have some amazing, loving, and dedicated teachers ready to make the transition as smooth and comforting as possible. ❤️ Our teachers are here with extra hugs, encouragement, patience, and plenty of smiles to help each child feel safe, loved, and ready to learn. ❤️

🎒✨ Blessing of the Backpacks & Meet the teacher ✨🎒
What a wonderful day as we gathered for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks and welcomed our families back to school! Our children had the chance to explore their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and begin getting excited about all the adventures that await them this year.
After classroom visits and lots of smiles, everyone gathered in Kleberg to enjoy pizza, fellowship, and time together as a school community. 🍕❤️
It was the perfect way to kick off a brand-new school year! We are so excited and eager to welcome all of our children back tomorrow as we begin another year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and growth.

Our teachers had an amazing day of in-service training as we prepare for another wonderful school year! We were so excited to welcome back Jerri Thompson, our former Head of School and the author of the Thompson Scope & Sequence that guides our curriculum. ❤️
It was extra special having Jerri back with us, sharing her knowledge, experience, and wisdom with our team. We always love learning from her—and it was even better getting to see a familiar face again! 🥰
Jerri also provided specialized toilet training for our toddler teachers, while Ms. Stephanie led the preschool teams in an engaging training on the importance of using the easel in our classrooms and ways to involve the children in the process. 🖼️ 🎨

❤️ 🩼Our staff spent the afternoon getting refreshed and certified in CPR & First Aid training as we prepare for an exciting new school year! 🏫 🧸
Keeping our little learners safe is always our top priority, and we believe being prepared is an important part of caring for our preschoolers. From learning essential first aid skills to practicing how to respond in an emergency, our teachers are ready to help keep our little ones safe, happy, and cared for. 🥰

🪄✨🎩Today our campers were treated to an amazing in-house field trip with Silly Sparkles, our favorite kids magician and comedian! From mind-blowing magic tricks to laugh-out-loud comedy, the room was filled with smiles, giggles, and bewilderment.
The children loved being part of the show, sharing lots of laughs, and experiencing the joy and excitement that only a little magic can bring. 🪄✨
