UCC is offering a class on mental health and Christian identity based on the book Blessed are the Crazy by Disciples of Christ minister Rev. Sarah Griffith Lund. This 8-week class will focus on how theology can inform (and be informed by) mental health, while learning from Rev. Lund's personal experiences with friends and families experiencing mental health crises. Books will be provided for anyone interested in the class, and Rev. Lund will be coming to UCC to preach and offer a special talk on faith on Feb. 26th with the conclusion of the course. No RSVP necessary!

We've been asked to consider hosting a forum this fall on creative community responses to homelessness... such as the new Community First! Village just east of Austin. We know of a similar creative program in Dallas. Would you be interested in attending such a forum? Do you know of community leaders in this area we should consider approaching?
